WILLEMSTAD- March 4, 2018 – A delegation of the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) and tourism-industry partners were recently in Aruba promoting their events and products at the Curaçao Explosion in Aruba 2018 (CEA). At the CEA, the Curaçao delegation displayed all that the island will have to offer in entertainment during 2018. The event was kicked off with a press conference followed by a very well-attended information fair, opened by the Minister of Economic Development, Dr. Steven Martina.

A number of tourism-sector partners joined the CTB at the CEA, using the opportunity to showcase their attractive packages and prices. From Curaçao, the partners were Acoya Curacao Resort, Villas and Spa, Papagayo Curaçao, Hilton Curaçao, Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino, Scuba Lodge Boutique Hotel & Ocean Suites, Pietermaai District Curaçao, Quint’s Travelers Inn, Renaissance Curaçao Resort & Casino, Fiesta Tours, CuraçaoIndustrial and InternationalTrade Development Company N.V. The winning band at the 2018 Curaçao Tumba Festival, Buleria, roused the crowd and provided great ambiance at the CEA. Fairs like the CEA are ideal to provide consumers with all the information they need to plan their trip to Curaçao.

Curaçao’s sister island Aruba always responds with great enthusiasm when it comes to events on the island, and this fair was no exception. The CTB wishes to thank all partners that participated in the Curaçao Explosion in Aruba 2018, and will continue with its efforts to promote the island in its key markets.
